This was created as a space for the authors to express more of their experiences with writing the book and for you the reader to have an opportunity to learn more about the author and the work she is doing in the world.

Evolutionary Women is an organization that believes that women are the untapped resource we have been looking for on the planet. We are committed to providing opportunities for women to discover their “gifts” through a variety of retreats, classes and projects.

At an Evolutionary Women retreat in October 2007, Bonnie Kelley was reflecting on the wisdom and life experience of a group of women talking in the art room area and suggested that they write a guide book.  The next morning, Karen Porter stood up and announced the title, ” An Evolutionary Woman’s Guide to Life.” A woman seated in front of her, Christine Kloser, stood up and proclaimed her willingness to mentor and support this project with her publishing company, Love Your Life, Inc.

And this is what is happening at Evolutionary Women Retreats.  Women are honored for their individual uniqueness and in the collective gathering, an idea emerges.

Conscious Choices: An Evolutionary Women’s Guide to Life was published in Dec 2008. There are stories written by 44 women who have attended Evolutionary Women Retreats. This blog is an opportunity to read more about the authors and the process of writing and allowing their stories to emerge.
